It has been a while since I post something here. I've decided to post a small prototype game that I made in a spare week after the launch of Oniken.
This game is not as polish as Oniken and not even get close to MRC6454. I made it in order to test the concept of mixing two types of gameplay: sidescroller and top-down.
This game is Major Maox.
It features very simple 8-bit graphics and music by Bruno Araujo, who also made part of Oniken's soundtrack.
You assume the role of major Jason Maox, an ex-military who was throw out because of his irresponsible acts. Broke and drunk, Maox has the opportunity to rebuilt his life, if he accomplish a last mission...
Controls are:
Z= SPECIAL ACTION
X= FIRE WEAPON
C= CYCLE WEAPON
ENTER= PAUSE
ESC= QUIT GAME
Notes:
There's no customizable controls you can use joy to key in order to use a gamepad.
Since Major Maox is a very tiny game I didn't put a save option.
This is a prototype game it may have lots of small problems.
I hope that at least is fun to play. Thanks to everyone!
Ah and please comment about what you guys think about this mini game.
